Brother Shaun King is a Brooklyn-based activist and writer who focuses on civil rights and racial justice. An award-winning speaker, Brother Shaun has spoken in 49 American states, on over 200 college campuses, and in various institutions worldwide.

Brother Shaun wrote over 1500 articles on injustice as the longtime senior justice writer and investigative reporter at the New York Daily News and The Intercept. Previously, he was a high school history and civics teacher for years. Brother Shaun also wrote the New York Times bestselling book, Make Change.

In 2024, Brother Shaun and his wife embraced Islam on the eve of Ramadan. He was inspired by the people of Gaza for their unwavering faith and loyalty to Islam through turmoil. He said that this commitment not only warmed his own heart, but also the hearts of millions of people worldwide.
