Terms & Conditions

Before proceeding with booking any of our umrah packages, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions. By using our services and making a booking, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Booking & Payment

To secure your place on the tour, a non-refundable deposit of RM 1,000 is required at the time of booking. The method of payment will be communicated to you during the booking process.
By paying the deposit, you commit to paying the full package cost in full or in instalments, as agreed upon during the booking process. Full payment must be completed 60 days before departure. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your booking.

Cancellations & Changes

In the event of cancellation by the participant, the refund policy will be applicable as determined by Faith Events.
Faith Events reserves the right to cancel or make changes to the tour package due to unforeseen circumstances, such as changes in travel regulations, political situations, or force majeure events. In such cases, reasonable alternative arrangements will be offered or refunds will be provided, as determined by Faith Events.

Refund Policy

The deposit paid upon booking is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
In the event of cancellation by the participant, the following conditions apply:
- The balance payment (excluding the deposit) is refundable only if written notice of cancellation is received by Faith Events at least ninety (90) days prior to the departure date.
- Cancellations made within ninety (90) days of the departure date are non-refundable in their entirety.
- Refunds, where applicable, are subject to the discretion of Faith Events and will be assessed based on valid reasons provided by the participant.
All approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe as determined by Faith Events. Faith Events shall not be liable for any additional costs or losses incurred by the participant arising from a cancellation or modification to the tour package.

Force Majeure

Faith Events shall not be held liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, political instability, or other events that make it impossible or unsafe to carry out the tour.

Travel Documents & Requirements

It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid travel documents, including a passport with a minimum validity of six months from the date of departure.
The participant must comply with all visa requirements and provide accurate personal information for visa processing. Any costs or consequences resulting from incorrect or incomplete information will be the participant’s responsibility.
The participant is responsible for ensuring they are not under any travel restrictions (e.g., bankruptcy, tax arrears, legal cases). The Organiser is not liable if a participant is denied exit by Immigration.

Travel Insurance

Faith Events will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to the lack of adequate travel insurance.

Health & Medical Conditions

Participants should ensure they are in good health and physically fit to undertake the tour. It is recommended to consult a healthcare professional before embarking on any travel.
Participants with pre-existing medical conditions or specific dietary requirements must inform Faith Events at the time of booking to make necessary arrangements, if feasible.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to adhere to Islamic values, local customs, and laws throughout the journey.
Faith Events reserves the right to terminate the participation of any individual who engages in disruptive or inappropriate behavior that may adversely affect the experience of other participants or the overall trip.

Limitation of Liability

Faith Events and its affiliates will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused during the tour, including but not limited to personal belongings, health issues, transportation delays, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Room Allocation

Faith Events strives to accommodate participants who know one another in shared rooms, subject to availability and specific requests made during the booking process.
To ensure room allocation with individuals of your choice, please specify your rooming preferences on the booking form or send an email to [email protected]. While we will make every effort to fulfill such requests, please note that it is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Some beds in a room may be roll-out beds and not full size. This is at the discretion of the hotel. Faith Events will not be liable should the hotel not provide adequate beds.

Extra Activities

Aside from breakfast, any extra payable activities or meals are not the responsibility of Faith Events and will incur an extra cost upon the participant should you wish to partake.
Participants are advised to refer to the specific package details for a full list of inclusions and exclusions. Faith Events shall not be liable for any costs or services not explicitly stated as included in the purchased package.

Airfare & Airline Disclaimer

Flight schedules, routes, and seat assignments are subject to the operating airline’s terms and conditions. Faith Events shall not be liable for any flight delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or seat reassignments made by the airline, and any such disruptions shall be governed by the airline’s own policies.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Privacy Policy

When you complete a booking form with Faith Events, your personal information, including but not limited to your full name, contact details, passport information, and any other details required, will be collected to facilitate your travel arrangements.
The personal information collected will be used solely for the following purposes:
- Flight and accommodation arrangements;
- Communication regarding your booking and tour itinerary; and
- Any other purposes directly related to the delivery of our services.
In order to fulfil your travel arrangements, your personal information may be shared with relevant third parties, including but not limited to airlines, accommodation providers, and ground operators. Such parties are engaged solely for the purpose of delivering the services associated with your booking.
Faith Events is committed to safeguarding your personal information and will take reasonable measures to ensure that your data is protected against unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse.

Marketing Content

By participating in this trip, participants consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during the trip for marketing and promotional purposes.

Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Amendments

Faith Events reserves the right to modify, update, or change these terms and conditions at any time. The updated terms and conditions will be effective upon posting on our website. It is the participant’s responsibility to review these terms periodically.
