What do we seek for in a marriage?
Marriage is not the solution to loneliness and emptiness. The ultimate purpose of this sunnah is to gain the blessings of Allah through love, mercy, and affection. This companionship also opens the doors to abundance.
As Allah (s.w.t.) mentioned in the Qur’an,
And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing.
(Surah An-Nur, 24:32)
Before entering the world of marriage, one needs to equip him or herself with qualities that he or she wishes to find in their partner. Once married, each has to play their role to thrive in a successful, long-lasting relationship.
But how do we keep the sparks in marriage?
What are the secrets to crafting a healthy marriage?
How do we gain the blessings of Allah (s.w.t.) through marriage?
Have you been seeking the answers to these questions?
Join Ali Hammuda and Yahya Ibrahim in The Faith Conference, Match Made in Jannah: Navigating the Path of Marriage in Islam, as we learn about the preparation of marriage, its purpose, and how to build a blessed marriage that will last till Jannah.
